INTERCHANGEABLE DIY FALL AND HALLOWEEN WREATH

I love making a wreath for each holiday, but I'm running out of storage! So I decided to make an interchangeable wreath. The swag can be changed monthly.

SUPPLIES FOR FALL AND HALLOWEEN WREATH

– Faux Flowers – Wreath Forms  – Floral Wire or twine – Craft Foam Blocks – Felt – Hot Glue Gun and glue sticks – Wire Cutters

STEP 1. CREATE A SWAG FOR THE WREATH BASE

Cut the craft foam to fit the wreath base. I used a tobacco basket I had in my craft stash. Cover the craft foam in felt. Set the base aside. You want to work on the "swag" independently.

STEP 2. ADD THE FLOWERS

Start adding the flowers on the bottom left side, then repeat the same process on the bottom right side. You don’t even need to use hot glue for this part. Push the stems right into the foam.

STEP 3. FILL IN THE CENTER

Once you have the sides nice and full, add flowers to the center of the foam.

STEP 4. CHECK PLACEMENT ON WREATH

Once you have all of your flowers nice and secure in the base, hold it up against the wreath form to ensure you are happy with it. I chose to add a skull to the Halloween wreath. Be sure to add it to the top of the foam, not the basket. A little hot works.

STEP 5. ATTACH THE SWAG TO THE WREATH

The final step is to secure the swag (foam base) to the basket with floral wire or twine.

CHANGE OUT FOR EACH SEASON

You can easily change out the swags for each season or holiday. I have a great hack for storing the swags in the blog post. Be sure to visit below!
